As a starter, we tried the breaded mushrooms, which arrived warm and perfectly prepared to awaken our appetite before the main course.
For the main course, we ordered grilled turkey and the Balkan platter (pork loin and smoked pork neck). For dessert, we had orasnice (traditional walnut cookies) and an excellent homemade baklava.
This is a true traditional restaurant with a wide selection of meat dishes, soups, grilled fish, and classic desserts. The selection of pork and veal dishes deserves special praise. They also offer veal schnitzel and veal prepared under the sač, providing a classic menu with something for everyone to enjoy.
Prices are reasonable, the food arrives quickly, and even though the restaurant was quite busy, we did not have to wait long for our meals.
As mentioned earlier, the restaurant is located in an ideal setting surrounded by greenery. Wherever you look, you see beautiful nature.
In the indoor area, which resembles a covered garden, you can look through the glass walls onto a small park. In the outdoor garden, trees surround you, allowing you to escape the city’s hustle while staying close to it in a much calmer, healthier environment.
There is plenty of parking available, so guests arriving by car can easily find a spot.
The waiters were polite and attentive, although constantly on the move. It is clear that many guests pass through this restaurant every day.
The service was excellent. Even when we called to ask about the restaurant’s opening date and seating capacity, we received a friendly response promptly, demonstrating genuine care for their guests.
We will definitely return to try the Balkan Train (the house specialty for two people).
