We tried many dishes here. From the daily menu, one of our favorites is Vienna-style chicken schnitzel with pea stew, served with homemade chicken soup and apple pie.

We also tried the fantastic pork knuckle in beer, grilled fish, bean stew with smoked ribs and sausage, goulash, and from the lean menu baked beans (prebranac) and cabbage salad.

The food is always fresh and very tasty. If you don’t have time to cook or start craving home-style cooking, this is a place where you will feel as if you are eating at your parents’ or grandmother’s house. The taste truly feels homemade and comforting. For all lovers of Vojvodina cuisine, this is a place you must visit to experience the region’s true spirit.

Inside, the atmosphere is like that of a classic Serbian tavern, with plenty of wooden details and decorative elements evoking past times. It is clear that the owners paid attention to every detail.

Traditional tavern music can often be heard in the background, loud enough to set the mood but not so loud that it interferes with conversation or enjoying the meal.

The garden area has only a few tables and is practically located along the street, but that does not matter if you are hungry and want to enjoy a meal outside on warm days.

The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Since the restaurant is located close to my workplace, I often come here for lunch with colleagues. They have always been accommodating, even when we call in advance, so the food is ready for us if we only have a short lunch break.

You will see all kinds of guests here – business people, passersby, couples, and travelers. What certainly attracts people is the quality of the food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere, something that cannot be found everywhere.

It is also worth mentioning that during fasting periods, this is one of the few restaurants that truly accommodates guests who need meat-free meals, offering more than just a minimal selection of such dishes.
