For the appetizer, we ordered a platter with cheeses and cured meats, which was very generous and more than enough for the two of us. Later we tried the pork knuckle and lamb. The portions were huge, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and served in record time.
One thing worth praising is that we never had to remind them to bring bread – everything was served in abundance. For dessert, we had what might be the best we’ve tried so far: ice cream with chocolate topping. The house pancakes are filled with ice cream, and the colleague who tried them said he had never tasted anything better in his life – and certainly nothing more caloric.
It is also worth mentioning the naturally yellow color of the pancakes, which shows that everything is prepared in a traditional way.
An interesting detail is that the restaurant has both an outdoor and an indoor garden. One small drawback is that it is not clearly indicated anywhere that there is also an indoor garden. Outside, there are a few tables with checkered tablecloths that are nicely arranged.
Inside, however, the garden is large, with beautiful wooden tables, an ethno-style interior, traditional details, and even a waterfall flowing down the wall. The space is very large both in the restaurant and in the garden, and in our opinion it is ideal for larger groups and celebrations.
The waiter who served us was literally flying around us, kindly explaining what dishes were currently available, since not everything was listed on the menu (they aim to keep everything fresh). They also always have a selection of daily cooked dishes written on a board in front of the restaurant.
The service is excellent and welcoming, with a true home-style hospitality. Special praise goes to the chef, who not only prepared delicious food but also ensured that it was served incredibly quickly.
