Among the dishes we tried were a fantastic duck soup, which is truly difficult to find elsewhere in the city, then Srem-style stuffed schnitzel (pork), as well as sarma in red sauce, and for dessert pancakes and plum dumplings.
We are frequent guests at this restaurant, and one thing that can be noticed is that it is always full. A large number of guests visit daily, and fresh meat is always available. For example, once one of our colleagues asked for pork neck, but the waiter kindly informed us that it was currently unavailable and offered an appropriate alternative.
In addition to an excellent selection of meat and fish, this is also one of the places where you can enjoy excellent bean stew, podvarak, and other hearty traditional dishes.
The restaurant is located at SPENS and, despite the attractive location, there is plenty of parking available. The interior is beautiful, wood dominates, with warm colors, antique chairs hanging from the ceiling, and numerous photos of guests displayed on the walls. Considering that it has existed for more than twenty years, it is easy to imagine how many satisfied guests have passed through this restaurant.
In the evening hours, besides good food, you may also enjoy tamburica music. For that reason, it is recommended to check when making a reservation whether live music is planned.
The service is consistently excellent. Sometimes there may be larger crowds, so the wait for food can be a bit longer, but this is not a place for a quick meal, it is a place to enjoy good company, food, and drinks.
One of the oldest restaurants in Novi Sad with a truly strong reputation, and definitely worth visiting if you have not yet had the opportunity.
